Runaway Mine Train has always been where guests and staff wanted extra-themed lighting to be added. Working with a short amount of time between projects, I wanted to try my best to capture the entrance and highlight the amazing theming from the oldest ride on the theme park.
Using Pro Light 18T3 pros and LPHEX 18 to give an overall colour wash over the outside area, along with highlighting sections such as the bridge over the Rapids and the steam engine.
I wired and converted Amazon mining lanterns to 24v G4 flame flicker lamps and dirted them down to add to the mine theming, placing these along the shop side and the Runaway Mine Train entrance.
Working alongside Joe Green's amazing lighting along the Rapids, this transformed the Katanga Canyon area.
